A teaching position at Ta’i Tamaiti has recently opened up, and we’re recruiting a permanent, full-time (40 hours a week) qualified early learning teacher to work Monday to Friday between 7:00am – 5:30pm on a rotating roster to start as soon as possible!
oneCHILD Ta’i Tamaiti Tūranga Rangatira is an Early Learning centre that values and takes pride in our Cook Islands language, culture, and belief systems which are crucial to the education of our tamariki. We want to provide the very best education for our tamariki during their important early years of development.
We are looking for a teacher who is:
ECE qualified (or Primary School qualified depending on experience) and registered with a current NZ full practising certificate
fluent or has basic command of Te Reo Māori Kuki Airani (preferred) or is willing to learn Cook Islands culture and language.
passionate about creating a safe and fun learning environment for Tamariki
a NZ resident or has a valid NZ work visa
a team player and prepared to work effectively and collectively within the team.
